Wiki is free online encyclopedia which can be freely and simply created, modified, and deleted by volunteers. It is collections of web pages collaborated. Wiki was created in 2001 and rapidly spread out and reached to largest reference web site in the world.
Larry Sanger and Jimmy Wales is the founder of Wiki. As Wiki is enable to be created, modified or deleted by the users the users are the creators.
Wiki is very well known web page with tons of information we can get. It appeals more to use Wiki because it is one of the largest reference web sites that provides trust in them.
The Wiki users can edit them. When the wrong or incorrect information has been updated, the users who are normal person, professional about the topic edits it.
My task is to find out the incorrect or inaccuracy content in Wiki and fixing it like how the information in Wiki is produced/edited.
It is important for me to learn about Wiki, because Wiki is such a well known server and there could be incorrect information. When incorrect information has been created the other user will correct and edit again in a minute to a day. This shows that wrong information can be distributed extremely quickly and easily. It will definitely have impact and inaccuracy information can be spread out to people to people.

- Where does Wikipedia gets its information?
Wikipedia is server with collections of web pages. The information is from other sites, professionals, and users. Contents and edits are only from the wiki users. - Who is in charge of deciding what goes into an article and what gets removed from an article? There is no one officially chosen to decide what goes into an article or removed. Mostly, users are the one who decided whether to edit or remove it. When the content shows the inaccuracy too much and if it is vandelizing the established editor or administrator decided to edit or remove.
- If there is some debate about whether a particular bit of info should or should not be included in an article, what is the process for deciding? Mostly, debating in Wiki happens with keep editing and fixing the information in Wiki. Also the editor with more sources will win the debate and will be able to keep the contents in Wiki.
- How reliable do you think Wikipedia actually is?
Wiki is in all languages in the world. A lot of people in the world will rely on it. However only within the name of Wiki people just believe all information which some are not correct or not acccurate. We only should rely on the Wiki 40% and rest 60% should be relied on other sites, information from teachers, acquaintances, books, and other various medias. - How would you know whether a particular article really is accurate?
If an article in Wiki and few other sites are very similar then we can say that the article is accurate, but by only seeing Wiki and saying the article is accurate, it is not. - How would you go about discovering whether an article contains inaccurate information? As I mentioned above, referring other few sites are a way to discover whether an article contains inaccurate info.

- Step 2. Compare contents from different sites and Wiki with cautious perspective
- Step 3. Use common info that are at least in 3 different sites and if there are info with doubt research again

Ye-seul han korean celebrity has decieved her age and the truth has revealed. Her birth was 1980 but in Wiki it is written 1982, not have been edited yet. The birth of Ye-seul should be changed 1982 to 1980.

In the site above, Ye-seul's graduation year of high school is shown and the calculation of her age referring different events on her life has been shown. Certain people will think that she could have attended high earlier and graduated. Mostly in Korea, people start their first year of primary at the age of 7 and people in certain grade are all same age.
